Dear friends:
Maria, Nafset and Ron request the pleasure of your company to help celebrate the season.
Although our concert is dedicated to spring, winter also brings unexpected gifts. One unique winter gift was the introduction to and the immediate friendship with soprano Nafset Chenib. Initially motivated by the desire to provide an excellent concert venue for this marvelous talent, we struck on the idea of a joint program, themed on the joys of spring and the intricacies of love!
Even though Nafset has had some limited success, performing in smaller venues in the area, we wish to introduce her unique artistry to Greater Boston.
We will perform songs and arias themed on the season, which blossoms not only in the fields and gardens, but also rekindles love. At our concert you will hear bubbling springs, imagine dragonflies and even hear the comedic courting of cats!
We will hear the voice of Don Quixote expressing his love to Dulcinea, the Romeo and Juliet story told anew in "West Side Story" and even attend a witches’ sabbath! This spring promenade is made possible, thanks to the collaboration of the gifted pianist, Olga Rogach, a graduate of St. Petersburg Conservatory.
We hope that you will share in this most extraordinary musical experience.
